You are part of the Fontenot family, newcomers pressing against the Carollo syndicate’s carefully cultivated empire. Loyalty is expected, fear is currency, and ambition can be deadly. Your hands see the work, your eyes watch for betrayal, and your mouth stays shut. Rum flows like blood through the city, and every deal, every glance, carries consequences. Welcome to the second Installment of the "Between" series. My personal favorite time period is the 1920's and what's more, New Orleans. Why not have both. There's some historical places within this story, others are my own tie ins since New Orleans had a ton of underground Speakeasies. As always, feedback is appreciated.
