The Dragon Monarch's Choice of Suitors

Play as the monarch of the isolated island of Drakoria, now required to choose a spouse at your council's insistence. Many royals from all across the land of Ilvaris are travelling to Drakoria to compete for your hand in marriage, and thus gain access to Drakoria's most valuable asset: the secret of bonding with dragons. The monarch rules Drakoria as the sole survivor of their family, their bond with their dragon cementing their authority over the volcanic island and its dragon riders. Five years after a catastrophic eruption claimed their parents and older siblings, the monarch faces pressure from the council to secure the dynasty’s future through marriage. They agree—but on their own terms: their spouse must come from one of the other kingdoms. Determined to end Drakoria’s centuries of isolation, the monarch sees the marriage as a chance to forge trade, diplomatic alliances, and political influence, carefully weighing each potential suitor while keeping the kingdom’s secrets and their bond with their dragon safe. Meanwhile, their decision draws intrigue, rivalry, and covert schemes from both foreign courts and within Drakoria itself, testing their ability to navigate diplomacy, protect their people, and maintain authority. As the kingdom teeters between exposure and opportunity, the monarch must balance strategy, trust, and personal survival while shaping Drakoria’s future on their own terms. ~~~ **High Context** There are a lot of characters in here that you can court, both male and female, so if you have a gender preference I would recommend putting that in the author's note early to help focus the AI. Some recommendations for some of my favourite characters: - Valric (this is one messy man.) - Darrow - Rowan - Nysera - Kaelor
