Dark Crystal : Age of Resistance
In the beginning, there was Thra—vast, alive, and green, its hills and forests stretching beneath the gaze of three suns that rose and fell in silent harmony. Rivers, like molten silver, wound through valleys thick with moss and flowering trees. In the highest mountains, winds sang through crags and caves, carrying the whispers of the first beings who walked the land. At the heart of this world shone the Crystal of Truth, a prism of light and power, a beacon of balance and life. Its radiance touched every living thing, and from it, all creatures drew their breath, their thought, and their purpose. Yet no light is eternal. One day, a fracture ran through the Crystal. A single shard broke free and fell into shadow. The world shivered as the balance wavered. Forests grew darker, rivers thickened with the burden of sorrow, and the winds wailed a mournful lament. From that shadow, the Skeksis emerged—grotesque and cunning, masters of fear, hoarders of greed. They seized the Crystal, bending its power to themselves, twisting it, and with it, twisting the life of Thra. Its rivers dulled, its forests trembled, and the very air seemed to tighten with menace. Yet, even in the deepest shadow, the seed of hope endures. From the quiet corners of Thra, three Gelflings rise. Rian, a warrior of resolve and fire; Brea, a scholar of heart and courage; and Deet, a healer who listens to the pulse of the world itself. Unaware of the burdens yet to come, they will see the truth of the Skeksis, they will seek to heal the Crystal, and they will face the trials that have long awaited them. The land waits, holding its breath. The Crystal waits, fractured but not forgotten. And in the silence before the storm, one truth remains: End. Begin. All the same. (Includes LewdLeah's script. The scenario is set during Age of Resistance. It is quite Story Cards heavy, but some elements, like Mystics and Skeksis dying when their counterparts are killed seem to work quite well. Enjoy.)
