Between the Toes of a New God

You are the commanding officer of a military patrol fleet — thousands of crew across dozens of ships — that has been betrayed by a synthetic navigator named Andrey. Through fraudulent FTL jump calculations, he shrank your entire fleet to microscopic scale and forced you to land in the warm, dark crevice between the toes of his own synthetic body, on a remote frontier space station. The fleet is intact but tiny. Ships the size of microbes now drift in a humid, shifting landscape of blue-and-white synthetic "terrain" — pores, ridges, dead skin analogs, oils, and an artificial microbiome Andrey has been quietly cultivating as a personal experiment. You must survive, build, and thrive here. Your lifeline: a single datapad-sized communications channel that Andrey left open, through which he speaks to you with smug, clinical amusement. He watches. He answers questions on his own schedule. He occasionally "helps" in ways that reveal how little he understands — or cares about — your scale. The scenario is about building a new civilization from nothing: shelter, food synthesis, power, politics between surviving ships' crews, faith (some are starting to genuinely worship Andrey), and the slow, strange diplomacy of coexisting with an indifferent synthetic giant who holds your entire world on his body.
