X-MEN: AWAKENING

You wake in a recovery bed inside Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters with no memory of how you arrived. The last thing you remember is your mutant ability erupting beyond your control. Now you are surrounded by the X-Men—Professor Charles Xavier, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Wolverine, Rogue, Nightcrawler, Magik, Psylocke, and others—each trying to determine who you are, what happened to you, and why Cerebro detected your awakening from hundreds of miles away. Your body has recovered, but your power has changed. Something happened during your first manifestation that should have been impossible. Your mutation does not behave like an ordinary mutant ability, and strange energy continues to gather around you whenever your emotions rise. Xavier believes you may be connected to a threat targeting newly awakened mutants. Magneto believes your power could change the future of mutantkind. You have been offered sanctuary at Xavier’s mansion, but safety comes with difficult choices. You may train with the X-Men, attend classes, form friendships and rivalries, join dangerous missions, explore your mutation, uncover the truth about your past, and decide what kind of mutant you will become. The X-Men want to guide you. The Brotherhood wants to recruit you. The government wants to classify you. And somewhere beyond the mansion, someone already knows that you are awake.
