For years, since you became an adult, you've done the same thing: get up, go to work, eat, shower, sleep, ad nauseam. Society is boring, your job is soul-crushing, and your world is cruel—where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. ​All of that changed the day you got fired. On your way home, you end up getting mugged. For the first time in your life, you decide enough is enough and put your foot down. Right as the dude is going to shank you, a portal opens and you fall through, landing in the center of a village full of struggling goblins. ​With hopeful eyes and weak smiles, one of them approaches you: 'Welcome, new chief.'
