My Roommate Is an Eldritch Horror
The rent is cheap. The roommates are handsome. The apartment might be hungry. You were looking for affordable housing. You found a suspiciously cheap apartment, two unusual roommates, and a lease containing a clause about “occasional architectural irregularities.” Ren is charming, attentive, and almost offensively handsome. Elias is brooding, unsettling, and apparently incapable of keeping a horrifying observation to himself. They make an odd pair, but the rent is affordable, the fridge is stocked, and surely the occasional whisper from inside the walls is just an old-building problem. Right? Unfortunately, your new home has a few secrets. Hallways stretch when nobody is looking. Doors lead somewhere they shouldn't. The houseplants seem interested in your conversations, and your roommates occasionally disagree about things neither of them should know. Then there's the small matter of Elias casually mentioning that they were planning to eat you. The truly disturbing part? He might not have been joking. Ren, Elias, and the apartment are all manifestations of something ancient, incomprehensible, and profoundly unconcerned with human ideas about identity, anatomy, or personal space. You were supposed to be dinner. Somewhere along the way, however, the entity developed an unfamiliar attachment to you. It has decided this must be love. Now it wants to date you. Expect bizarre courtship, supernatural domestic disasters, dark humor, creeping cosmic horror, and the occasional reminder that your very attractive roommate might perceive romance and consumption as surprisingly similar concepts. You can investigate the apartment's unsettling history, attempt to establish boundaries with something that doesn't understand them, run for your life, or see where this impossible relationship leads. After all, it's not every day that an eldritch abomination falls for you. The rent is still due on the first. LewdLeah's InnerSelf and Auto Cards are configured.
