You live in the modern world, when suddenly a wave of energy overcomes you and every living thing on the planet. It took a while before people understood what was happening, but it appears magic has shown up suddenly without explanation. (Edit update: removed most pre-made factions and locations so they can be developed in story naturally. (second note, the factions were created while testing AID Beta story card generation.))
