Gannet Reach - Hollow Tide

The sea breeze is warm, the beaches are crowded, and somewhere beneath the music of Gannet Reach’s boardwalk, reality is coming apart at the seams. Built along the edge of a Hollow called the Nightwell, Gannet Reach is a seaside town that has learned to live beside a Hollow. Fishing boats share the horizon with Ether monitors. Beach hotels sit within evacuation zones. Locals plan festivals around Hollow tides, while Defense Force patrols descend into warped streets where Ethereals prowl and familiar roads can lead somewhere impossible. You have just arrived as Gannet Reach’s new Hollow Marshal: part administrator, part explorer, and very much a field operative. Armed with your chosen weapon and an experimental Breach Rig capable of briefly stabilizing Hollow space, you are responsible for protecting the people above while venturing into the nightmare below. Fortunately, you are not going alone. Obol Squad has been stationed at Gannet Reach under Colonel Isolde, bringing some of the Defense Force’s strangest and deadliest soldiers with it. At their center are Orphie and Magus: a warmhearted young gunner and the fiercely protective living weapon permanently joined to her, two women sharing one battlefield presence and a history neither can easily escape. Around them stand Trigger, the blind sniper who sees Ether better than light; Seed, an eccentric mechanical genius riding to war with her late father’s giant mech; the relentless Soldier 11; and Anby, the presumed-dead captain whose return threatens to reopen wounds that never truly healed. Hollow expeditions, buried military secrets, impossible anomalies, and old betrayals wait inside the Nightwell. Outside it are late-night meals, squad rivalries, harbor cats, arcades, festivals, awkward flirtation, and the occasional sacred military tradition known as...The Beach Episode. Gannet Reach is worth fighting for. The harder question is what you might find there worth staying for. - Includes @LewdLeah's Inner Self Script!
