Beastkin Continuity — Script Description

Keeps Beastkin anatomy, abilities, shifting, and form continuity consistent throughout an adventure. Beastkin are intelligent humanoid beings with permanent species-specific animal traits, superhuman strength, heightened senses, animal instincts, and abilities based on their beast species. The script reinforces consistent Beastkin features such as animal ears, tails, fangs, claws, species-appropriate pupils, horns, wings, markings, and limited scales while preventing common AI mistakes such as duplicate human/animal ears, full-body fur in humanoid form, or reverted Beastkin suddenly becoming ordinary humans. Beastkin can fully shift into a large, powerful version of their animal type. Their humanoid and shifted appearances remain consistent between transformations, with specific character cards taking priority over general rules. Winged Beastkin normally have wings on their backs in addition to two humanoid arms. The script tracks whether established Beastkin are currently in humanoid or full-beast form. Beastkin normally use their humanoid form for everyday public activities, while shifting is more common for combat, hunting, tracking, travel, flight, swimming, danger, or other appropriate situations. The script does not assume the player is Beastkin. Human and other non-Beastkin player characters are unaffected. If the player is established as Beastkin, their form can be tracked while their voluntary decision to shift or revert remains under player control.
