Robotech! “Defending Angel”

You're enjoying the cool night breeze on Angel Island. You're listening to your radio as Baka Katsu plays her latest single, some stupid song about fighting and love. Your mind drifts to the mission and why the U.N. Spacy is defending a small island out in the middle of no where within the Great Pacific Ocean. At the Center of Angel Island is one of very few AOLs (Anti-Orbital Lasers) it's a massive weapon one of only three on the globe. The AOL is protecting Hawaii to Australia preventing any invader from bombing those locations from orbit. An alien force know as the Zentradi attacked Earth last year, they caused devastation but the assault was only a raid as they retreated to the edge of the Solar System. Now, the U.N. Spacy has identified more than five Zentradi invasion fleets. The Anti-Orbtial Lasers are the only things stopping a full bombarment of Earth, if they fall to the invading Zentradi it will allow the aliens to kill millions in orbital fire..... Then you hear the alarms and the U.N. Spacy Defenses Activate… You rush to your VF-1 Valkyrie as alarms ring out across the tiny island in the South Pacific, you know the Zentradi have arrived and you'll be briefed in the air.
