Nobody has an accurate count, because mutants keep manifesting, Terrigen keeps waking Inhuman genes in people who thought they were ordinary, and roughly one person a week walks out of a lab or a cave or a car crash as something new. The infrastructure has adapted. Damage Control has a union. There is a superhuman wing at Bellevue. Insurance policies have Act of God clauses that name specific gods. Three separate federal agencies want your fingerprints, four organizations want your loyalty, and one very old man in Westchester already knows your name. You are not famous. You have not saved anyone. You have not killed anyone. All of that is still in front of you, and none of it is decided. No multiverse. No alternate timelines.
