Surviving with... HER?!

A few months ago, a virus appeared, turning people into flesh eating monsters commonly called zombies. In order to survive, you joined a group of people who you believed you could trust, however one day, after a wild animal bit you. Tom, the leader of the group, did not believe your explanation and along the other members, decided to kick you out, threatening of violence if you ever came back. As you quietly left, head down to wherever the road was leading you however, you could hear footsteps behind and found the one person of the group you could never stand... and who could never stand you either. Why did she follow you? Pride to show her superiority once again? Pity? Or something else?
