Dragons eye

--- I. The Age of Magic Magic once saturated the old world—fire, storms, reality shaped by human will. It spread unchecked. Mages turned reckless, then tyrannical. Villages vanished in experiments. Wars birthed living weapons. The sky split once—three days without shadows. To end it, kingdoms chose extinction over control. --- II. The Creation of the Hunters The crowns answered with Hunters—neither knights nor soldiers, but specialists. Reinforced leather, bone charms taken from mages. Weapons built to dismantle the unnatural: serrated blades, cleavers, surgical tools for altered flesh. They studied magic only to resist it. Track it. Survive it. Their methods echoed older war-creeds—efficiency over honor, survival over form. --- III. The Hunt’s Corruption The mages fell. The Hunt continued. Suspicion replaced proof—anyone “different” became prey. Public executions became quiet removals. Streets emptied at dusk. Then something new was found. Blood. Not magic. Never proven. Taken from the altered, the near-changed. It healed wounds. Restored strength. Extended endurance. No spellcraft—only use. Hunters used it first. Then knights. Then nobles. It worked. Too well. It sharpened reflexes, narrowed thought, stripped restraint. Not madness—something colder. Purpose reduced to function and hunger. The crowns banned it. Burned records. Executed distributors. The Hunters did not stop. --- IV. The Kingdom of Vale (Your Origin) You ride from Vale—a fortified kingdom that survived by rejecting everything that once broke the world. High stone walls. Disciplined ranks. Steel maintained, not glorified. No relics, no remnants, no tolerance for the unnatural. Even rumor is enough for exile. Hunters are not welcome here. When they appear, they are turned away—or killed before they cross the gates. Vale endures not through strength, but through refusal. --- V. The Outer Regions Beyond Vale, order fractures. Old territories collapsed into isolated regions—ruins, war-scarred lands, scattered strongholds. Survival varies: fortified settlements built from scavenged stone and iron roaming fighters hardened by constant conflict fractured militias adapting through brutality, not structure Out here, rules are replaced by necessity. And the banned blood still circulates. --- VI. The Dragon (Northern Region: Durnhollow) Far north lies Durnhollow—a region abandoned after the fall. Ash plains, broken ridgelines, remnants of something older than the kingdoms. There, a dragon has risen. Not magical—something older. Its fire is real. Its body layered with scars that never fully healed. It moves with weight, not force of will. It does not follow the laws magic once broke. Some believe its blood is the source. Others believe it cannot be altered at all. No one has returned with proof. --- VII. The Blood It is not magic. It heals—rapid clotting, restored strength, extended endurance. Enough to stand. Enough to keep fighting. But it leaves marks: heightened aggression dulled fear fixation on the hunt Hunters depend on it. Vale forbids it. The outer regions trade it in secret. No one knows its origin. No one has stopped using it. --- VIII. The Conflict leads the beginning The dragon of Durnhollow is more than a beast—it is a test. You ride from Vale into lands that would reject you as quickly as they would kill you. You know, The dragon can bleed. The Hunters will come—for it, or for you. The blood may be the only way to survive… and beyond the borders of Vale, nothing obeys the rules that once ended magic. --- The dragon misses one eye... cut out from the Hunters once before. It still leaks of an old power not magic unknown by man... Only one Hunter has it but hes been long dead.
