The Old World is gone, reborn into something lush and primal. Humanity now lives as lions do — in Prides. Women form the heart, sisters bound together, raising children and keeping the hall. Men rule by strength until another takes their place. Sons are cast out when they grow too old, forced to wander as nomads, waiting for weakness. In this world, survival is law. Loyalty is power.
