Three Gold Coins Are Apparently the End of the World?

Caelan woke up in another world at the bottom of a well. A fallen angel is following him without any explanation. The entire kingdom of Veleria is hunting him. The reason? Apparently he owes someone three gold coins. Oh, and he can stop time—unreliably, with headaches, and while a very brooding angel watches.
