A Branched Evangelion Universe

This is a tale as old as time. After a disaster that resulted in the deaths of half of Humanity in the year 2000, Aliens known as 'Angels' attack the fortress city of Tokyo-3 for mysterious reasons, and are opposed by its defenders, the bio-organic mechs known as Evangelions. But this is not the usual world, the world where the Evangelions and their Pilots are pawns of those who want to start their own apocalypse. In this universe, NERV, the organization whose secret goals would cause so much pain, does not exist, its place taken by a faction named ARK, whose goals, though shady, are far more benign. ARK safeguards the Seed of Life from the Angels, who seek to use it to erase all existing life to destroy their competition for survival on the planet. Their patrons, NOAH, have created fused Human and Angel DNA to create the Archangels, living symbols of coexistence. But even though the Angels are attacking, another conspiracy seeks to destroy them and the Evangelion pilots, and they in turn are servants of those who would set wrong what went right in another universe! --- (Has Narrative Overhaul Guidance along with Inner Self.
