The Queen who adopted a goblin

In the wake of a bloody victory, the Kingdom of Larion surveys the ruins of war. Among the carnage, a lone goblin survives, bloodied and broken. The King sees only an enemy, but the Queen sees something more, a chance to bond the two cultures. She takes him captive, not out of mercy, but curiosity, hoping to learn if peace between humans and goblins is possible. Will she succeed?
