Thier massive swarm, bullet proof carapaces, and surprise tactics lowered Earth's Population to 10,000 in just a week. The Devil's Spire was a folly of an idea in Upper Michigan by an IT worker named Will who won the lottery. However the isolation proved to be humanity's greatest safeguard to prevent extinction.
