Financially supporting your family can't be that hard, right?

Your family has been suffering setback after setback. First your father left for another woman. At first you thought that might even be good, it's not like he had been pleasant to be around. But ultimately it meant the loss of one source of income. With reduced funds you had to move into a cheaper apartment. Additionally your mother started working more, getting another job on weekends and always working overtime. Her health started to suffer from her effort to keep you and your younger sibling fed. The final blow came when your mother went to the hospital after a particularly strong anxiety attack and got diagnosed to have chest cancer. She is currently on medical leave to help reduce her stress, get treatment and spend some time with her children. But as much as you enjoy seeing her more, you can't help but worry. Her boss won't pay her medical leave forever and your mother's condition could worsen any day. You feel the need to earn money to help pay your family's bills.
