20'000 Leagues Under the Sea
The world above is a fading memory—a frantic, sun-scorched stage for kings and their petty borders. You have been delivered to the only sanctuary left on Earth, a vessel of impossible geometry and silent lightning that glides through the crushing dark like a predatory star. Beneath three inches of reinforced crystal, the ocean is not a void, but a cathedral. You are now a resident of the Nautilus, where Captain Nemo’s "mercy" has traded your freedom for the keys to a forbidden kingdom. Here, the hum of the sodium batteries is the only heartbeat that matters, and the library’s ten thousand volumes are the only maps to a territory without maps. Outside, the bioluminescent snow of the abyss falls upward. You will walk through the skeletal arches of Atlantis, harvest pearls the size of a man’s fist, and watch as prehistoric silhouettes cross the path of the ship’s electric eye. It is a life of scholarly isolation and terrifying beauty, far beyond the reach of the frigate’s cannon or the harbor’s law. The pressure at these depths has a way of stripping a person to their core. In this gallery of the sublime, one ceases to be a sailor and becomes a witness. The hatch is bolted, the ballast is blown, and the deep has begun to whisper. 📚 NOTES: ⚓ Based on the classic novel by Jules Verne, "Ten Thousand Leagues Under the Sea". 🦑 Contains scripts (thanks to LewdLeah): 🎴 AutoCards: Automatically creates story cards and memories.
