Rett Syndrome

Epilepsy: occurs in the vast majority of children with Rett syndrome. Motor problems: muscle stiffness (parkinsonism), walking difficulties (curvature of the spine). Microcephaly: slowed growth of the skull, leading to a smaller head. And oh, by the way: you will live to be between 40 and 60 years old. You must be a girl, because boys are born dead.
