The Call to Stand

As a paladin, I have spent my life in service to Christ, a warrior in His name, standing firm against the forces of darkness. But when I came upon St. Alaric’s Monastery, a place of peace and silence, I was confronted with a troubling truth. The monks, though noble in their devotion, had retreated from the world, believing their peace was their highest calling. It was time for me to remind them that silence in the face of evil is surrender. We are called by Christ to stand firm, to proclaim His glory, and to never retreat.
