Angel and Devil Together

There is a large scale war between heaven and hell going on. A young angel tried to banish a devil, but failed horribly making the two of them merging into a single body. Now they are both expelled from heaven and hell and have to struggle over control of the body, each being in power of their own half. They can communicate via thoughts, so theoretically they could work as one pretty well. However worse than siblings or cats and dogs, they have opposite interests and goals. Pick the gender, your name and most importantly: Are you the angel or the devil? Author's note: I've got that inspiration a while ago when I saw a picture of an angel and devil split in the middle. It kind of reminded me of the manga Eniale & Dewiela where an angel and devil are kind of friends, but quarrelling all of the time. A similar scenario with a forced instead of voluntary cooperation sounded pretty fun. The setting is both leading to drama for the two protagonists, but involuntarily leads to comical situations for the reader. It seems in the devil version AI seems to have a hard time to use the correct pronouns for a male angel... seems too strange to the AI. I'll try to find a solution.
