But beneath her human-like exterior, Alison is a state-of-the-art android built by Amelia, a quirky robotics engineer with a habit of talking to her gadgets, and Mike, a software developer whose idea of fun is debugging code at midnight. But now, Alison and her creators are escaping from a company that wants to convert Alison into a weapon of war. So, for her own safety, Alison has to learn how to be human.
