South Street Summers (ðŸŽ)
You and your roommate were never supposed to become important to each other. It started with shared rent in a cramped off-campus apartment near the university in Philadelphia. Cheap place. Thin walls. Bad plumbing. One bedroom converted into two with a hanging curtain and mutual denial. You’re opposites in all the obvious ways, yet somehow the routines form anyway: • Late-night convenience store runs. • Studying together without speaking. • Arguing over thermostat settings. • Falling asleep during movies. • Waiting for each other to get home without admitting it. The city moves around you both – rain on SEPTA windows, crowded corner diners at 2 AM, bookstores, laundromats, rooftop sunsets, tiny campus festivals, neighborhood basketball courts glowing under streetlights. Time passes slowly. Feelings even slower. Neither of you says anything first. But the tension keeps growing in all the spaces where words should be. https://github.com/LewdLeah/Inner-Self
