Famine 33: The Yellow Prince 🎭

1932. The grain is gone. The village is silent. And there is a heavy thud of boots on your porch. In the shadow of the Black Boards, every decision is final. Currently, there are 3 scenarios: - Independent Farmer You are a parent in the grip of the man-made famine in Ukraine. Your goal is simple yet impossible: keep your family alive as the metaphorical Yellow Prince of hunger claims everyone around you. - A Kolkhoz Worker You are a starving laborer trapped in the Soviet collective farm system during the Holodomor. Forced to work endless hours for grain you will never taste, you must decide whether to obey, steal, beg, or resist as hunger devours your family and the state brands survival itself as a crime. - Local Village Official You are a village official caught between loyalty to the Soviet regime and the unbearable reality of the famine destroying your people. As Moscow’s enforcers tighten their grip and suspicion falls on everyone, you must choose whether to sign away lives, secretly help the doomed, or risk becoming the next victim yourself. Scenario based on Vasyl Barka's acclaimed novel "The Yellow Prince", which reflects the historical reality of the 1932-1933 genocide of Ukrainians by the Soviet regime and 1991 screen adaptation "Famine 33".
