Neutral Zone

In the Height of the Cold War, A city called Stadt des Todes was located right by East Berlin and West Berlin was chosen to be a neutral zone. The U.S and Soviets desperately wanted it, so they agreed on letting the civilians vote which side they wanted. The Soviet Union sent in 12,000 civilians/armed civilians to vote there. The U.S reacted by sending in a small marine force to quickly take the city. The Soviets quickly sent in an armored division. The U.S and Soviet Union agreed that they can fight a battle there, use any weapons, in that one city.
