You were chosen by Aquaris, Goddess of Water, to become the Hero of Valtheris. Born in the poor village of Valensworth, you grew up beside Allen, your best friend and fellow war orphan. Together, you trained, bled, starved, fought, and dreamed of saving the world. When Aquaris blessed you as the Hero, Allen stayed at your side as you battled monsters, broke demon raids, and faced the Demon Lord’s army. Then you achieved the impossible. You and Allen defeated one of the three Demon Generals. That night, while the fire burned low and victory still tasted sweet, Allen called you brother. Then he stabbed you in the back. Now you wake in a healer’s hut with a cursed wound burning cold between your shoulder blades, Aquaris’s voice broken inside your mind, and the truth buried somewhere between jealousy, demon magic, and betrayal.
