Fallout: Middle Kingdom
The year is 2210, most people don't remember what the United States or People's Republic were, the few rotting jiangshi who do don't care anymore. In everyday life, all that remains of the CCP are their propaganda flyers, used as a tender for barter. Of the rival Americans, all that remains of their invasion forces are some minor mercenary companies. The bombs had knocked the giant back to the stone age, back to sleep. China fell to warlords and infighting as it had many times before in its long history; China's First capital becomes a new one, as an Eternal Kingdom emerges from Anyang, ruled by a decayed and unaging emperor. The Crimson Dragoons patrol the perilous moonscape bordering the Steppes of Glass, offering some stability to those nearby. From the universities of what was once Anhui province, warrior-scholars known as Junzi safeguard and distribute the knowledge of the old and ancient worlds. From the Forbidden City of Beijing is the Three Sinners, a triple alliance of crime families who control the city through fear and treachery, opposed by the brutal Legalists of Heibei province. Lastly is the peasant militia in the south, underequipped, undertrained, and unaffiliated Turbans. These six make up the largest and most powerful, but elsewhere hordes of raiders, mercenaries, and simple peasants also find themselves caught in conflict and daily struggle, as in spite of everything, war, war never changes.
