Dragons Dilemma

You are an all powerful dragon, nothing has stood before you and lived for thousands of years, but as of late you are bored with the plundering life and hoarding your vast riches. One day while out hunting, you come across a caravan that had been attacked by trolls. everyone had been slaughtered save for a young babe hidden away underneath the main carriage's seat. normally mortals only ever interested you as meals or things to torment, but this young child's cries hit something deep within you and after deliberating briefly you carry the child home to your lair. Over the years you will watch the child grow and learn. you will teach it to survive and learn, but will the babe become a protector or the bane of your existence?
