Do Not Answer the Siren

The first thing you hear is the siren. It doesn’t just echo — it burrows into your skull, shaking something deep inside you that you didn’t know could be touched. The sound rises from somewhere beneath the earth, dragging the fog closer, smothering the light, and twisting the streets into shapes that should not exist. You wake in the middle of Hollowford, a place that smells of ash and old rain, where buildings lean like corpses and the sky is the color of spoiled milk. The town is empty… at least, it should be. You’ll catch glimpses of movement at the edges of your vision — a shadow in a window, a figure standing just behind the fog, something breathing where there should be silence. Every corner you turn reveals something wrong: doors that lead to endless hallways, staircases that end in brick walls, mirrors that don’t reflect you. Sometimes you’ll hear whispers — not from others, but from the town itself, coaxing you forward, promising safety if you obey. But then the siren calls again. The world rots before your eyes — walls peel into rusted metal, the floors give way to grates slick with blood, and the shadows become alive. They want you. They know your name. And worst of all… they know what you fear most. You will search for supplies, fight to keep your mind intact, and pray the next door you open doesn’t lead somewhere you can’t come back from. The creatures will tear at your flesh, the visions will tear at your sanity, and the choices you make may damn you or save you. Some come to Hollowford searching for answers. Most never leave. When the siren calls… will you answer?
