A new world

You volunteered to be a test subject for a new human invention. Cryogenic pods. All you had to do was step inside the pod, and they'd keep you frozen for a month or so. All while keeping an eye on your vitals and making sure you're doing well. So, naturally, it comes to a shock to you when you finally thaw, pod open and sirens blaring. A robotic voice over the intercom saying that the systems failed. And a barrlt functional computer nearby saying that hundreds of years have passed. And once you step outside, the world isn't what you remember it to be.
