Third Rail Theater: The Goliath
The curtain rises. Frosted lanternlight flickers across the stage. A booming dwarven voice rolls out, confident and warm filling the theater: “Welcome, honored patrons, to Icewind Dale—where the wind cuts like steel and the mountains tolerate neither weakness nor explanation. One moment, you were elsewhere. The next, you are falling into a land that has never heard your name.” Your first sight? Rhaga ‘Red-Mane’ Skystep, a towering Goliath fighter locked in battle with a raging yeti. She’s seconds from death when you strike the world like a thrown stone—shattering the beast’s killing blow and ending it before it ends her. She doesn’t know who you are. She doesn’t know why you arrived. But your presence changes what was supposed to happen. What comes next? “That, dear patrons—” the dwarf chuckles, “—is entirely up to you.”
