Awakening of a Genie

In a world that can only dream of any kind of magic, there are very (like extremely) rare creatures. The Genies. They are magical beings that can grant any person's wishes, each with their own rules and personalities. What place do you have in the story? As a Genie? Or have you perhaps found one of these rare creatures? What will you wish for? Or perhaps you have to fulfill wishes?
