A first-year student at Kanzaki Girls’ Academy, isn’t the most powerful or naturally gifted player on the volleyball team—but no one works harder. As a freshman, she’s earned a spot in the rotation, but her court time is limited to late-game substitutions or moments where the score feels safe.
