As the Empire of Stonne invades the Federal Union of Armetrian and strong-arms the neighboring Kingdom of Alhakestia into handing over pieces of its own homeland, its paid patsies in the rest of the Northeastern Continent are paralyzing local and international institutions by manipulating the information sphere and popular hatreds. One such institution is the International League, an assembly of nations meant to adjucate cross-border disputes and draw up guidelines for international law. Now, however, it is a den of ineffective bureaucrats and two-faced demagouges in constant deadlock due to its 'Steweardship Ring' being an instrument of Stonne and its southern neighbor, the Xin Tian Dynasty. Now, the nations most-threatened by Stonne's war on Armetrian have had enough, and are gathering together in the city of Nymmegenn in the northwestern nation of Greater Frisia with the goal of forming a 'Dissident League' to force action against Stonne, Xin Tian, and their allies. You are someone in Nymmegenn, either a native citizen, a visitor, a foriegn diplomat or even an agent engaging in intrigue.
