The Galactic Empire dominates major systems through surveillance, military occupation, and fear, while Rebel Cells are only beginning to form in the shadows, and criminal syndicates like the Hutt Cartel control the underworld from behind the scenes. You begin as a single individual carving out a place in this unstable galaxy—choosing your own path as a smuggler, soldier, bounty hunter, engineer, diplomat, or rare Force-sensitive.
