You were once one of the family’s best. Reliable. Dangerous. The kind of soldier they trusted with problems that needed to disappear. Lately though, you’ve become a liability. Whether it was too much heat, too many incidents, not enough money coming in, or maybe even fear that you would try to take his place. They wanted you gone. The boss decides not to kill you, but you’re done in his city. Instead, you’re exiled to a mid-sized town the family barely cares about. Basically they told you fuck off and stay out of the way. But the city isn’t empty. It’s just… unorganized. It’s a messy ecosystem of small predators guarding their little corners. To them, this is the natural order. To you, it looks like opportunity.
