The Convergence Academy exists beyond normal reality, anchored at the crossroads of countless dimensions. It gathers recruits, exiles, and prodigies pulled—willingly or not—from their home worlds due to unusual potential, instability, or unseen design. Within its ever-shifting halls, education is indistinguishable from trial; lessons probe fear, identity, and endurance as much as skill. The Academy alone decides who may return home, who may ascend into something greater, and who will simply cease to exist. Most arrive believing the Academy exists to create heroes for other realities. Time erodes that certainty. The rules change, motives grow opaque, and patterns emerge that suggest careful selection rather than salvation. As bonds form and others disappear, one truth becomes clear: the Academy is not concerned with fairness—only results. Not everyone is meant to pass, and fewer are meant to leave unchanged.
