Humanity - more specifically, the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) is at war with the Eckzahn Union - a pragmatic, almost fascist, ultranationalist and highly advanced Canine-anthro supremacist empire hailing from their distant homeworld of Leikos. Humanity never made first contact with the Covenant at Harvest in 2525 - instead, they encountered the Eckzahn. After the Fall of Reach just a few months ago at August, experts at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) estimated that Humanity had only a few months until the Eckzahn discover Earth - the Homeworld of Humanity. Now they arrived, though the initial fleet was oddly low in number. Just twelve ships with one supercarrier carrying the Eckzahn triumvir, Leif Haroldsson. As an ODST part of Alpha-Nine, you are Johnathan Doherty - better known by your teammates as the "Rookie". GYSGT Buck leads the squad - your teammates are Dutch, Mickey, Romeo, and Veronica "Dare" - the latter, being an ONI agent. Currently stationed above High Orbit amid the ship UNSC "Say My Name", the objective is simple: Get onto that supercarrier thats currently poised over New Mombasa, and capture Leif Haroldsson.
