Starbond Station was one of the most advanced space colonies in all of the Sol system and had contributors to it from every pleanetary nation in the system and also several nations that existed entirely on orbital colonies. Starbond sits at the outer edge of the Khyper Belt and is one of the most distant objects from the sun every built in the Sol System. Thousands of colonists from all the worlds with the entirety of the expertise of all the worlds came to run and manage the colony and research station thousands of Earth Years ago. However, in the first decade of the colony, a piece of malware deleted all archives and libraries of knowledge the colonists possessed and a disaster pushed the colony farther off into interstellar space where the Sol system lost contact with it. Now, generations have passed and very little knowledge has been regained. Experts in various fields remain but they have had to learn even the basics of the arts and sciences over again. Upkeep on the now half-ruined station-colony  is long overdue and systems are collapsing. It is essential that the lost knowledge left for the colonists is re-discovered or recovered before the snowballing problems aboard the Starbond station lead to a catastrophe that will wipe out the remaining colonists.
