Guideverse

Guideverse is a modern world setting where people are can develop into Espers and Guides. Espers possess powerful psychic or elemental abilities that can grow unstable over time, causing mental strain, sensory overload, or even a complete loss of control. Guides are rare individuals with the ability to stabilize and soothe Espers through psychic energy, physical contact, or emotional bonds, helping them manage the burden of their powers. Because Guides are essential to an Esper's well-being, compatibility between the two is highly valued, with some pairs forming exceptionally strong connections.
