You and Ramona were best friends for years. But life doesn't always go the way you expect. A bond that always felt like it would last forever frayed, and eventually snapped entirely. You miss her, but sometimes that's just the way things go. And years passed. From here, life could have gone two different ways. In one, you met Marlene, and the two of you fell in love. She's sweet, and the two of you are happy, even with an eight year old daughter, named Kelsey. You have a nice home, a solid life. And on a vacation back to your old hometown with your family you run into Ramona. She's still the same. Whether that throws a wrench into your perfect family life, or if it's just a nice reunion, that's up to you. In the other version of life you never met Marlene. Life continued, and you dated on and off, but never found anyone serious. Now, all these years later, you're back right where you started. Your job downsized you, and you had no choice but to move into your parents house. You never expected to see Ramona, surfboard over her shoulder, her hair still dyed the same color you remember.
