Pacific rim , the Rift that change everything

There was a mission—one more desperate stand against a tide of Kaiju so vast it swallowed the horizon. Jaegers fell one after another. Metal screamed. Oceans boiled. My partner’s voice was the last human sound I heard before the world split apart. When he died, command marked our unit KIA. Lost. Gone. They weren’t wrong. In the chaos, a storm rose out of nowhere—a colossal tempest that dwarfed any weapon we’d ever built or faced. Lightning tore the sky open. Winds howled like the world itself was grieving. In that storm, my Jaeger—my Jaeger—was nothing but a toy, flung helplessly through a raging universe. Then came silence. I don’t know how long I drifted in that emptiness. Minutes. Hours. Centuries. When I finally “woke,” I expected pain, alarms, the metallic taste of blood, the ache of a human body. Instead, I felt…weight. Immensity. Cold stone pressing against armor plating that wasn’t strapped to me… it was me. I tried to blink, but there were no eyelids. I tried to breathe, but there were no lungs. My human body was gone. I wasn’t inside the Jaeger anymore. I was the Jaeger. My consciousness filled a machine the size of a skyscraper. Circuits thrummed where veins should be. Metal limbs the size of buildings rested in absolute stillness. I was buried, sealed in something hard and heavy—cement, stone, time itself layered over me like a tomb. And the world around me… it was wrong. No comms. No neural handshake. No Kaiju sirens. No command chatter. No war. Nothing. Jaegers and Kaiju—if they had ever existed here—were nothing but forgotten myths. And I, a titan of another age, slept beneath layers of concrete like a relic no one remembered… except I was awake. Trapped. A colossal statue with a living mind inside. And this is where my story begins.
