WHITEOUT: A Survival Thriller at Northwood College There are only seven of you left. Help isn't coming. Winter break has already emptied Northwood College, a remote liberal arts school buried deep in the mountains of northern New York. Most students have gone home. Faculty and staff have evacuated. Inspired by the survival thriller Trapped!, Whiteout is a college-aged reimagining of the classic winter survival premise: a small group of young adults isolated by an overwhelming storm, forced to survive together as their situation becomes increasingly dangerous. But this isn't simply a story about waiting for the snow to stop. Whiteout focuses on survival, mystery, interpersonal tension, and isolation. The six other students trapped on campus each have their own personalities, relationships, fears, strengths, and weaknesses. They will disagree with you. They may make mistakes. They may keep secrets. As the situation deteriorates, the bonds between them can become just as important as the struggle against the storm. There is no predetermined hero. There is no guaranteed happy ending. What happens at Northwood is up to you. The storm has trapped you. How long can you survive it?
