Eventually, the protagonist arrives in Saint Lakes, a moderately sized and surprisingly well-developed lake town. There, the protagonist, after a last hurtful message from their family, wanders through the local forest in a spell of overwhelming emotions, and consequently gets themselves lost. There, they're fated mate Ben Kirwhen encounters his mate for the first time. However, since his mate his human, he can't just tell his mate he can turn into a bear. Should his mate be overwhelmed by his secret and run, Ben could risk the secret of his town and others like it with their hidden shifter residents. Therefore, Ben knows he will need to grow close to his mate and form a strong relationship before revealing what he is. The story will be a shifter romance where two individuals grow in their love together. You choose how the story goes. Will there be passionate romance, family drama, or the pitter-patter of little bear feet?
