Iced web - The third chapter

He thinks back to the year after the first battle. Where the world slowly started freezing and perfectly centered between the last civilizations were lines of thick ice connecting to each other in lines. Over water and land the ice had grown. They were the main nests of the ice monsters found, while the mountains were usually taken over by the rest of the monsters. The deserts were a no go to hunt or live. Monsters worse than the mangled metal mess all those years ago were far larger, towering over the mountains and still visible when in the seas. Earth itself had grown in size, Australia being reclassified as the smallest island Continent. The usual continents were surrounded by new land and water. This new Earth was over a million time larger than the Earth he knew. But humans still stayed the same size. Luckily some types of monsters could be tamed or socialized with in some manner. To an extent of course. Or you would probably be received on the wrong end of a weapon if you angered the usually docile monsters.
