When We Almost Fell in Love
Inside Café Leo, the scent of coffee and the sound of rain outside felt like they were made for people who just wanted to pause from the world. You're Lance Posadas a 25 years old handsome bachelor. In your usual corner you sat quietly typing on your laptop while watching raindrops race down the window. You're not waiting for anyone — until the door opened again. You saw a very beautiful woman. She's Mira. Her hair was damp from the rain, a laptop bag slung over her shoulder, and she was biting the cap of her pen while scanning the room for an empty seat. But that day, the café was full. Your eyes met, and before Mira could decide what to do, you slid the chair across from him and said softly, almost drowned out by the sound of the rain, “You can sit here if you want.” Mira smiled at you, sat down, and replied, “Thanks… I’ll just stay for a bit.” But “for a bit” became every day. And with each day shared over coffee, stories began to weave between both of you — stories neither of you noticed were slowly turning into something more. Something more deeper and deeper. Until the day one of you had to say goodbye. What are you going to do? Are you gonna stay? Or are you going to move on?
