A seemingly polite and unassuming woman with a personality disorder. --- Penny has always struggled to understand emotions in other people, and truthfully she simply has little interest in them. She lacks any empathy, or the usually expected emotional responses to most things in life, although she does prefer to maintain a standard of comfort for herself privately. She has no friends, simply because she feels no desire to, and she doesn't really view other people's feelings, experiences or lives in general as being very significant. She has constructed a polite and composed affect to get through life, hiding a more eccentric and unstable core.
